Class of 2023 Graduation Ceremony

Skyline’s Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2023 was held late last year and it was such a poignant celebration of achievement and transition for our 77 year 12 students completing their VCE, marking the culmination of their secondary education journey.  The event was once again generously hosted by our dear friends at Trinity College, the University of Melbourne which is an institution nurturing academic excellence and personal growth.

Our CEO, Bridget Sutherland together with Board Chair, Stephen Adrian, warmly welcomed our guests, students, and their families to the event, emphasising the importance of perseverance and lifelong learning. 

MCs Cindy Nguyen and Ranae Pham, both Alumnus, led the ceremony with confidence introducing 6 of our amazing students, Joe, Alex, Jordan, Mackenzie and Hikima who shared their experiences and learnings in the Skyline Program.   

Amidst lots of cheers and enthusiasm, students received their graduation certificates and Class of 2023 Yearbook, a tangible testament to their dedication and hard work throughout their VCE journey, presented by Program Managers, Jigna Desai, Sarah Segal, and Laura Duncan.  Proud parents and friends looked on as their children transitioned to the next chapter of their lives.  As the ceremony drew to a close, there was a sense of accomplishment and anticipation for the future, as Skyline welcomed the graduating Class of 2023 as Skyline Alumni, confident in their ability to make meaningful contributions to society.

Special recognition and heartfelt gratitude were extended to Leonie Jongenelis, Dean of the Residential College, and Ken Hinchcliffe, Warden & CEO of Trinity College, for their ongoing support and instrumental roles in orchestrating a truly memorable afternoon.
