Long is currently Skyline's very own Alumni Wellbeing Facilitator. He joined Skyline in 2006 as a student at Chandler Secondary College now Keysborough Secondary College and graduated the year after securing a position at Monash University to study a Bachelor of Arts/Communications degree majoring in Film and Television.
Since then Long has worked for world class entertainment companies and venues such as Walt Disney World, Monash University, the Melbourne Recital Centre, Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre.
He currently resides in London and is enjoying the challenges and rewards as a Visitor Experience Supervisor at the V&A the leading museum of Art and Design. His collaborated piece, Liminal, exploring queer Asian identity will be on display at the British Museum for London Pride.
He reflects on his experiences in the Skyline Program as the moment he realised the immense power of stories, the power of the stories you tell to yourself and to others.
Everything has a story, change the story and you can change the world. He hopes to empower young people to know their stories and to tell it with truth.
