Winley H.
Winley H., Skyline Class of 2020

Winley was a multi-lingual Year 12 school leader at Dandenong High dedicated to social justice and studied English Language, History Revolutions, Chemistry, Further Maths, Maths Methods and Japanese. Winley has always strived for and achieved excellent outcomes. She is creative, motivated and has enormous empathy for others.

“Skyline provided me with the opportunity to join a community of likeminded people, who I can learn from and become bedazzled and motivated by their knowledge of the world, and their humbleness”. She has already gone through significant self-improvement and awareness and she has been challenged to overcome many barriers.

Winley absolutely loves AFL, music, cycling, gardening, cooking, swimming, learning, languages, hiking and gaming and is most proud of completing the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. She is also most passionate about zest because it encompasses her goal to live life to the fullest.

She strives to do her best academically while having fun and is inspired by human rights activist Ella Baker for the courageous, righteous, intuitive nature she showed during her activist career.
