Vicki McConchie commenced working with John Cheetham, (Skyline Founder), in 2001, as the Program Coordinator of the DOXA Pilot VCE Program. On completion of the Pilot Program, Vicki continued working with John Cheetham and over a two-year period during when the Skyline Education Foundation was created, with the first intake of students in 2006.
Vicki continued as the Program Coordinator until the end of 2009. Her involvement with Skyline was maintained over the next 6 years as Personal Assistant to Dr Peter Hollingworth, Chair of the Skyline Board, and beyond that time through volunteering on the Alumni & Fundraising committees
‘My involvement with Skyline students, alumni, the board, staff, Patrons, Ambassadors and donors is a privilege. It is a great joy to me to see the Program continue to grow and see John Cheetham’s vision being realised. The Program was created to enable the participants to complete VCE and continue on to tertiary studies with the necessary educational, financial and emotional support that would allow them to reach their potential and follow their dreams. I am very proud of all of the participants' achievements – they are, and will be wonderful leaders of the wider community’.
