Roghayeh (Rocky) S., Skyline Class of 2019

Roghayeh is a young person with a strong voice for social justice.

At 14 years old, Roghayeh won the Newsboy Foundation Youth Leadership award as apart of the Victorian Student Representative Council.

Coming to Australia in 2012 with no spoken English, Roghayeh recently finished her Year 12 studies. As well as being a Skyliner,

Roghayeh is also a member of the Centre for Multicultural Youth where she is able to fully embrace her advocacy for diversity, inclusion and equality. Roghayeh has spoken at numerous public events, addressing social issues in a manner that is very mature, open and equitable, with a consistent message of a future where we all walk together, learn together and work together in unity.

Roghayeh is a strong role model for the Muslim community, inspiring both men and women to set goals to lead to their dreams. Roghayeh has dreams of working in the humanitarian field with UNHCR.
