Jane Sydenham-Clarke, Skyline Leader in Residence

Skyline’s inaugural CEO 2018-2022, Jane is inspired by the work of so many in building Skyline, and driven by the opportunity to contribute to future-proofing bio-psycho-social and environmental security for this and next generations.  During Jane’s term as CEO, Skyline experienced a transformation – tripling revenue, reach and impact.

Jane is a strategic and hands on leader, with a commitment to innovative commercial practice for social outcomes. She has held leadership and management positions in government, commercial and not-for-profit settings and has rich experience and relationships with diverse cross-sections of the philanthropic, not-for-profit, commercial and community sectors across Victoria and Australia.

Prior to Skyline, Jane was CEO at Freemasons Victoria, and previously she held senior roles at Fed Square, Southgate Arts and Leisure Precinct, Kidney Health Australia and VicHealth.

Originally, she trained as a Registered Nurse and in Post Graduate Psychiatry. She has Masters (Communications – Creating an Icon) and Honours (Gender Studies – Success for Women at Work) degrees from Monash University Arts Faculty and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Leadership Victoria.

She has been appointed to various community leadership positions on Boards and Committees and as Vice Chair of the Victorian Tourism Awards Judges Panel. She is currently Chair of Tradeswomen Australia and a Director of Tradeswomen Australia Community Foundation and Urban Camp. In her executive life, Jane has transitioned to lead another mission-driven not-for-profit organisation as CEO, while remaining involved with Skyline to support as a Leader in Residence.
