Sopanet has always been a high achiever in his time at Keysborough Secondary College and displays a natural affinity with STEM-related fields. He received excellent results after overcoming his struggles with time management with extracurricular commitments.
Following his hard work, he looks to undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics) at RMIT University.
His talents are multi-faceted, and he has a great passion for music. In his spare time, he plays, listens and transcribes mostly jazz music with his talented ear. He reflects on his VCE experience with pride in how he performed in his Chinese oral exam, putting more than 100% into immersing himself in learning a third language.
Sopanet refers to his peers at Skyline as “an amazing group of future leaders, and those who have the potential to change the world.” Prior to his involvement with the Program, he was very introverted but now sets his sights on making a positive impact in the world.
