Georgia says she finds herself lucky to be a member of the Skyline Program. She was both the school captain and vice-captain of her sports house at Westernport Secondary College.
At 17 years of age, it was a struggle for Georgia to balance good grades, work and a social life. However, Georgia now volunteers as a firefighter at her local brigade and aspires to have a career in the emergency services. She has expressed interest in applying for the Victorian Police Force to serve the community and eventually as a Canine Officer when she turns 18.
“Skyline has provided me undivided support throughout my schooling years and I encourage younger students to apply for the Program. It is life changing and an invaluable experience.”
